What happens when participants stop just listening and start shaping the learning. A workshop with OKIN Facility CZ.
A whole day of learning online? A few months before the workshop, you would have seen doubt written across my face. A screen is not a classroom.
Working with OKIN Facility CZ in September 2020 gave me a concrete reason to reconsider. We explored creativity, innovation and change management. Participants brought focus, experience and a real willingness to discuss ideas.
That is what stayed with me. The content wasn’t only what I had prepared. The group developed it through their own examples and questions. Online, that contribution was anything but automatic. I appreciated it all the more.
A good programme leaves room for something a trainer cannot prepare: the experience people bring into the room. Or onto the screen. A large thank-you to the participants for making their own practice part of our shared learning.
