What a workshop for OKIN Facility CZ reminded me about open discussion and learning together.

A few months earlier, asking me about a full-day online workshop would have produced a doubtful expression. How do you move work built on dialogue and participation to a screen?

On 8 September 2020, we tried it with OKIN Facility CZ. The topics were creativity, innovation and change management. It was more than putting a presentation on a different screen. Participants created an essential part of the experience themselves.

They brought examples, a willingness to learn and an openness to discussion. Their contributions helped the prepared programme develop into shared work. I remain grateful for the attention and energy they invested.

One successful session doesn’t answer every question about what should be taught online. It does remind me that quality depends on more than the setting. It also depends on what people actually do there.
