Why I’ve never liked choosing between sound management and human conversations.

You go looking for training and find yourself on one of two riverbanks. On the first are tools, methods and technical knowledge. Information has structure. Order prevails. On the other, communication, leadership and self-awareness form a rather wilder landscape.

We usually choose a bank according to what hurts most. Need a plan? Project management. Colleagues at odds? Communication. As though the two never met in everyday work.

That divide inspired the bridge we discussed when sebe Vědomě began. It takes essential tools and a way of thinking from project management. From leadership, it takes communication, openness and a willingness to understand ourselves and others.

In practice we need both: to structure a brief while listening to people; to make a plan and talk about why it no longer fits. For me, the bridge is more than a pleasing metaphor. It is a way to build learning around real work.
