Watercolor illustration: Workshop participants working together on a practical task.

From a project-training afternoon at CertiCon: clear goals, changing requirements and a willingness to try.

At CertiCon, I once again met a group full of ideas and willing to try something new. Exactly the kind of energy that makes training enjoyable.

During this opening afternoon in 2021, we worked on setting clear goals. Then we introduced change. Requirements and assumptions shifted, and participants explored how to discuss the consequences with a customer or manager.

That is where project thinking comes alive for me: when a tool leaves the slide and helps people talk about a real choice. What should change? What should stay? Who decides?

Thank you to the participants and DEV PACK for the afternoon together. This is a note from a particular session I remember fondly. And a reminder that a good kick-off is more than a meeting with an impressive name.
