What learning with Jan Přeučil reminded me: a good message needs more than the right words.
Sometimes I go to Prague for work. Sometimes I go to learn. In 2024, I had a memorable reason to visit: learning how to use my voice with actor Jan Přeučil.
What an experience. Energy, enthusiasm and a reminder every trainer needs occasionally: content cannot carry the whole message. How it sounds matters too.
Even “Yesterday I had tomato sauce and three dumplings for lunch” can take on a different life when you use your voice well. This isn’t about turning every presentation into theatre. It’s about helping the thought reach the listener.
On my way back from an evening beer, I also met economist Tomáš Sedláček. A brief, enjoyable encounter and another reason to remember the trip. Prague has its surprises. I’m still keeping the Beskydy hills, though.
